Yes. We can assist businesses with both commercial electricity and gas procurement.
We can review your existing arrangements, discuss your requirements and help you understand the contract options available from energy suppliers.
Northstar Utility Group works with energy suppliers and industry partners to identify procurement options suitable for our customers.
The suppliers and products available may vary depending on factors such as your business requirements, energy consumption, credit status, meter type and contract requirements.
We will explain the options available to you as part of the quotation and procurement process.
The suppliers and products we are able to consider will depend on the supplier relationships and procurement channels available to us at the time.
We will not claim to compare the whole market unless we are able to do so.
Where appropriate, we will explain the scope of the suppliers and options considered when presenting your quotation.
Northstar Utility Group may receive a commission from the energy supplier when we successfully arrange an energy contract on your behalf.
Where commission applies, it may be incorporated into the energy price you pay to your supplier.
We are committed to transparency. Before you agree to an energy contract, we will provide you with information about the commission or fee associated with that contract, including the amount or method used to calculate it where applicable.
Full details of the relevant commission or fee arrangement will also be provided as part of the quotation and contract process.
The information required will depend on your business and energy supply.

A Letter of Authority (LOA) allows Northstar Utility Group to communicate with relevant energy suppliers or industry parties on your behalf for the purposes specified in the authority.
The LOA does not itself enter your business into a new energy supply contract.
You should read the scope of any Letter of Authority carefully before signing it.
Yes. We can review your existing contract and discuss your requirements ahead of renewal.
Starting the process before your existing contract expires can provide more time to consider available procurement options and decide which arrangement is appropriate for your business.
The Climate Change Levy (CCL) is a government tax applied to certain energy supplied to businesses and other non-domestic users in the UK.
CCL may appear as a separate charge on your business electricity and gas bills. The amount payable depends on factors including the type and quantity of energy used and whether your organisation qualifies for an exemption or reduced rate.
Northstar Utility Group can help you understand the energy charges shown on your bills. If you believe your business may qualify for a CCL exemption or reduced rate, you should check the applicable requirements and provide the necessary documentation to your energy supplier.
